Unseen Between is a visual arts company specialising in creating unique, experience-driven work that merges heritage crafts with modern technology, installation, and live performance. Our projects bridge traditional and contemporary practices, combining skills such as willow weaving and rush work with innovative approaches like living costumes and interactive technology
Founded to facilitate collaborative projects that push beyond the boundaries of traditional visual art and theatre, Unseen Between develops work that sits between creative disciplines. Our diverse team includes visual artists, heritage craft practitioners, horticulturists, architects, digital technologists, costume designers, model makers, performers, choreographers, composers, and even scientists—each contributing to work that redefines artistic possibilities.
Alongside our creative projects, we offer workshops that connect participants with a wide range of artists and makers. These sessions are tailored to different groups and abilities, fostering creative communities, teaching new skills, and expanding the use of technology within the arts. Through this, we champion heritage skills, creative arts education, and sustainable living, ensuring these traditions thrive for future generations while inspiring new artistic frontiers.
